NetRefer’s second Cultural Traveller Giovanna takes us to the distant East Asian land of Thailand to share the ins and outs of the country’s jewel in the north – Chiang Mai. Giovanna, who’s originally from the South of Italy, spent three years living there after spending time in London and Czech Republic. The main driving force behind her move to the Far East were her punches and kicks, literally, because she’s an avid practitioner of Muay Thai – known in native Thai tongue as ‘Muay Nak’.

One key factor that determines productivity rate is our work environment. How conducive to effective work is it for us when we need to focus on our task at hand for an extended period of time? It comes as no surprise that after Covid-19 hit, we’ve had to rethink how we work. Employees found themselves quickly dipping their toes in a new system that requires them to cycle between working on premises and working remotely often. NetRefer was quick to make the right adjustments to ensure everyone can work comfortably and stay productive.

On 25th June, we celebrated National Bring Your Dog to Work Day. This special day dedicated to our four-legged furry friends traces its recent origin back to 1999, following an incentive by Pet Sitters International (PSI) to celebrate dogs as well as encourage more adoptions.
