NetRefer’s Daniela Azzopardi Wins Customer Service Idol of the Year At IGaming Idol 2018
NetRefer enter the final quarter of 2018 with a resounding success at the iGaming Idol 2018 awards ceremony, with our Client Services Manager Daniela Azzopardi taking home the ‘Customer Service Idol of the year’ award.
This is the 3rd year for the annual iGaming Idol awards. Building on the success of previous years the event has quickly become the one to win. Recognising individuals within the industry rather than companies. The Idol of the year status is coveted, highly contested, and sets new standards for employees to strive for.
Up against a possible 9000 eligible entries in 21 categories from the ever-expanding iGaming workforce, Daniela breezed through the initial stages onto the shortlist of 10 for the Customer Service Idol category. From there it was down to Daniela to impress the judges. With only 15 minutes to answer any questions, Daniela’s time with NetRefer helped her pinpoint the judges needs efficiently and accurately enough to propel her into the final three.
NetRefer received two consecutive ‘Stevie’ awards in 2016/17 so take their customer support seriously. Taking on Daniela as a Client Services Manager, responsible for 1st line support just 12 months ago was obviously a shrewd move. Recognising her vision for continual improvements in the resolution of customer issues, NetRefer then placed 2nd line support under her watchful eye.
Daniela continues to seek improvements to the system. Applying process updates when and where necessary, looking forward towards automation possibilities, keeping her team up to date and staying abreast of industry standards and practices. This approach has paid dividends with NetRefer’s Client Satisfaction Score averaging 4.5/5 in the year to date and 96% of SLA’s being met in the last quarter.
Both NetRefer’s and Daniela’s vision of 1st contact resolution and impeccable customer service have been understandably rewarded with this prestigious award.
