NetRefer at iGB Barcelona 2026: Turning Business Cards into Community Impact

Written by NetRefer | Jan 7, 2026 7:58:04 AM

Let’s Make an Impact Together

As NetRefer returns to iGB Barcelona this January, we are taking a fresh and meaningful approach to connecting with visitors at the event. This year, instead of offering the usual giveaways such as pens, notebooks, USB drives and power banks, we are using our stand presence to support the local community. For every business card collected at our stand, NetRefer will donate €5 to the Pere Tarrés Foundation, whose local programmes help children across Barcelona grow, learn, and thrive.

This simple initiative makes it easy for every visitor to contribute to a positive cause. A single business card can help fund essential projects that strengthen children’s wellbeing and create brighter opportunities for their future.

“At NetRefer, we know the power of learning, growth and higher education. That’s why this initiative resonates so deeply with us: by helping children see clearly and smile confidently, we’re empowering them to shine in their education and beyond. It’s a small gesture with a big impact, and together, we can help every child: See. Smile. Shine.”

Giving Back to the City That Welcomes Us

As a tech company, learning, growth, and empowerment are central to who we are. Our platform helps organisations make informed decisions, share knowledge, and develop stronger teams. These values extend naturally into our CSR efforts, especially when it comes to supporting young learners.

Healthy, confident children are better able to engage with their education. When children feel confident, supported, and secure, they can focus more easily, participate actively, and enjoy their learning environment. By contributing to local initiatives led by the Pere Tarrés Foundation, we aim to support the next generation in the very city that hosts the iGaming community each year. By helping children see clearly and smile confidently, we are supporting the foundations that allow them to engage more fully in education and carry that confidence beyond the classroom.

Helping Barcelona’s Children Learn with Confidence

For more than sixty years, the Pere Tarrés Foundation has worked to improve the lives of children and families across Catalonia, with a strong focus on education and social development. Their programmes reach thousands of children through socio-educational centres, family initiatives, and health-related projects.

Our contribution supports their Barcelona-based health programmes, which include initiatives that improve children’s oral health, support healthy vision, and promote overall wellbeing. Their recent study on dental health showed that many children in the city had conditions requiring attention, and a notable number had never visited a dentist. These findings underline the importance of accessible care and early intervention. Through the Foundation’s efforts, children benefit from regular checkups, treatments, and preventive guidance that contribute to both comfort and long-term health.

Healthy eyes and healthy teeth do more than improve physical wellbeing. They help children see clearly, smile confidently, and participate more openly, supporting communication, engagement, and self-belief. These elements play a meaningful role in a child’s ability to learn, grow, and shine at school and beyond.

“It is wonderful to see an international organisation like NetRefer take an interest in supporting social and health initiatives here in Barcelona. Their contribution helps strengthen the programmes we deliver for children across the city, and we hope it inspires more companies in the iGaming sector to join us in making a positive difference.”

Drop a Card, Spark a Change

Taking part in this initiative is simple. Visitors only need to leave their business card at the NetRefer stand. For every card collected, we will donate €5 to support the Pere Tarrés Foundation’s programmes within Barcelona. There is no cost to participants and no obligations attached. It is a small gesture that can help create a lasting impact for children in the local community.

Why This Initiative Reflects Who We Are

At NetRefer, we believe that every organisation has the potential to make a positive difference. Our own work is rooted in helping companies grow through knowledge and empowerment, and this initiative reflects those same principles. By supporting programmes that help children feel confident, healthy, and ready to learn, we are investing in the future and giving back to the city that welcomes us each year.

We are proud to turn our presence at iGB Barcelona 2026 into an opportunity for meaningful local impact, supporting initiatives that help children learn confidently and thrive.
